Support Me

Every year the Crestwood Copsicles are proud to be one of the top fundraising departments in the Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics and this year will be no different.

This year we want you to join our team and #PlungeWith us and the Athletes of Special Olympics.

Each year, I plunge into the icy waters just to raise money for Special Olympics, but I know the difference that it makes in the lives of the athletes. I know the difference it makes to put a medal around the neck of an athlete, or the look on their face when they give that high five or hug because they just completed their competition.

That is enough for me to keep plunging every year!

It is going to be frigid, but we have committed to “be bold and get cold” for the 22,000 Special Olympics athletes participating across Illinois.

While we’re getting cold just thinking about it, we’re excited to join the thousands of warm-hearted individuals that will participate in the Polar Plunge.  While our Plunge promises to be a little frigid, we do not mind because we are supporting the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

To jump into the frigid waters, our team has set a personal fundraising goal and we need your help to reach it!  Any amount is appreciated – it all goes to one “cool” cause and gets us that much closer to our icy dip.  Best of all, your donation helps provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in Special Olympics programs and reveal their inner champion.

Donating through this site is simple, fast, and secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our Polar Plunge efforts and show your support for Special Olympics Illinois.  If you would like to #PlungeWith us or learn more about this “official event of winter,” visit www.plungeillinois.com for all of the chilly details.

Thanks in advance for your support – and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
