2018 SUPER Polar Plunge

Support Me

For the 10th straight year, I’ve committed to “go for the cold” for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois by participating in the SUPER Plunge.  I’m going to take 24 icy dips into Lake Michigan (once an hour, every hour, for 24 hours straight) while camping out on Evanston’s Clark St. Beach!

This extreme event allows me to raise much needed money and awareness for the more than 42,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.  I’m definitely Freezin’ for a Reason!

You can help by making a donation today – simply click the "Support Me" button above.  Together, we are creating a more inclusive world where differences are celebrated, not simply tolerated.  Your support helps provide Special Olympics athletes the chance to participate in life-changing programs year-round and free of charge.  Don't just take it from me - watch the brief video below and hear from Erika how Special Olympics has enriched her life.

Again this year, BWM Global has partnered to support my efforts and will match 50 cents of every dollar I raise.  Your donation will make an even larger impact!  For example, your $50 donation will result in $75 benefiting athletes like Erika.

Thanks in advance for your support.

216 icy dips and counting…
