Who can participate?
Trucks welcome in the 2021 Troy Truck Convoy include semi-trucks, truck/trailer combination, fire trucks, dump trucks, flat beds, buses, large tow trucks, landscaping, large box trucks, etc. All trucks must be 10-GVW or larger. Hazardous materials or trucks with alcohol/tobacco names or logos on them are not permitted.
Day of Schedule
Driver Check-in/Onsite Registration - 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Lead Truck Auction - 3:50 p.m.
Trucks line up on Lieber Street - 4:00 p.m.
Convoy departure - 4:15 p.m.
Convoy return - approximately 6:00 p.m.
Dinner - 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Awards - 7:00 p.m. (Silent Auction will close at this time)
- Auction Check-out - 7:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Silent Auction - BIDDING OPEN
To ensure the safety and health of our Troy Truck Convoy participants and volunteers, the 2021 Troy Convoy Silent Auction will be held online through One Cause. Supporters (virtually and in-person) can bid and pay for items through this online platform. Bidding is now open and will close at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2nd. Winners can pick up their items at the Convoy or at the Troy Police Department in the week following the event.
New in 2021 - The Troy Truck Convoy will be auctioning off the opportunity to have your truck featured in our official 2023 Truck Convoy Calendar! This calendar will be produced by Special Olympics Illinois and available for purchase at the 2022 Troy Truck Convoy with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. Winning bidders for each month will be responsible for providing a high resolution image of their companies trucks to be featured in the calendar on the month they won.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
100% of the funds go directly to support and benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. The Illinois LETR is the largest grassroots fundraising campaign benefiting the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. In 2019, the LETR raised more than $5.3 million for the 23,100 traditional athletes and 13,000 Young Athletes participating in Illinois.
