The Polar Plunge, presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run and GEICO, is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics athletes by taking a flying leap – a leap into the frigid waters of Knights of Columbus Lake Club. Participants must raise $100 in donations from friends, family and co-workers in exchange for jumping into the icy waters.
Chads Run will be held in conjunction with the Polar Plunge. This event is a 5K event that Begins and Ends at our Plunge site! Registration is $30 the day of the event. Awards will be given to the top three individuals in each age category.
Chad's Run and the plunge will take place 03/07/2020 at Knights of Columbus Lake Club loacted at 141 North Lakewood in Chatham. Registration starts at 10:00 am and Chads Run takes off at 11:00 am. The Polar Plunge will take place at noon.
Join us Friday March 6th from 6-8pm at the KC Lake Club to kick off the fun!!! and pre-registar for the Plunge. KC Lake Club will be having a Fish Fry, as well as Their King of Clubs Drawing.
Plungers will receive incentive prizes based on the amount of money they raise. By raising the minimum of $100, you’ll receive an official Plunge hooded sweatshirt. Sweatshirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis the day of the plunge. All individuals who do not receive a sweatshirt the day of the event will have one mailed to them in April. Other prizes are awarded at the $250, $500 and $1,000 levels and will be mailed to participants in April.

In addition to our on site post-plunge party and awards ceremoney immediatly following the Plunge, we will also be hosting a party at Crows Mill Pub in Springfield starting at 4pm...join us for some live music and fun, Plungers hang on to your wristbands for this party. The line up for the bands...From 430-7pm Mike Burnett and the Suns, and From 8pm-12 Highway 615
