2023 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Dunkin’ partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. This partnership has been a huge success over the years; in fact, more than $6.7 million has been raised in Illinois!
This year’s Cop On A Rooftop event is scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2022 from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. Law enforcement officers will be at more than 325 Dunkin’ locations across the state to rally the communities in support of their local Special Olympics athletes.
If you can't join us at one of the participating locations, you can still support your local law enforcement agency and Special Olympics Athletes! Donate through this site and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Illinois.
*Please note* Online donations will not be redeemable for an in-person coupon. To qualify for free donut or hot coffee coupon you must donate at one of the 325+ locations across the state. To find that list please visit www.coponarooftop.com
Why Special Olympics Illinois?
Special Olympics Illinois is a not-for-profit organization offering year-round training and competition in 18 sports to a community of more than 55,000 traditional athletes, Young Athletes, Unified partners, coaches, volunteers, and more. Through inclusive athletic, health and leadership programs, Special Olympics Illinois empowers our athletes to transform themselves, their communities and the world. Individuals with intellectual disabilities face societal, political and cultural discrimination, ranging from misunderstanding and bullying to isolation and exclusion. At the core of our mission, Special Olympics Illinois is a sports organization that uses the power of sports as a catalyst for social change. We breakdown long-held misconceptions about people with intellectual disabilities by highlighting the inherent talent and unbounded promise of our athletes and how their spirit has, does and will continue to positively impact communities throughout Illinois.
